Gallery Philosophy.

OQ Coffee Shop & Roastery has goals. One of them is to get people to fall in love with the art of coffee--another is to promote the arts. We created this space not only with the best coffee in mind, but also the design that would allow us to showcase the art of local artists, amateurs and professionals alike. We believe art is a powerful way to share our ideas, generate conversation, and encourage creativity in anyone. We foster a place for artists to display their work at no cost, but require that a portion of sales made go to the OQ Community Arts Fund to support others. We believe art should be accessible so that everyone has the opportunity to be thoughtfully engaged and inspired. Our hope is to expose as many people—young and old, virtuosos and dilettantes—to the power of art. Take a look. Listen. Let your heart be stirred, or dance!
