Sweet fragrances emerge in the dry coffee that merge into a seamlessly balanced cup of coffee. A crisp citrus acidity rounds out a medium heavy body and a deeply chocolatey finish.

Our Tasting Notes (Ceballos Microlot)

Walnut and dark chocolate fragrances emerge in the dry coffee that carry over into the cup. Minimal, grape-like acidity savory tones round out this drinkable heavy bodied coffee.

This lot comes to us from 42 farming families near Monserrate in the department of Huila, Colombia. The group (who also provides some of our decaf, PROAGROMIL) has been working with a US importer for many years now who has helped them to produce consistently stellar coffees. Between the community and importer, they have been are working hard to sell their coffee at a higher, more sustainable price by focusing on quality. This is the fourth year we’ve offered coffee from the PROAGROMIL community. We are featuring two lots this year. The first, Rigoberto Andrade's sold out in early September; so we are now offering a lot from the Ceballos family.

This is a classic South American coffee: nutty and chocolatey with minimal, soft acids layered on a heavy bodied cup. This coffee is imminently drinkable with an extremely approachable profile; buy it drink, but buy enough to share!
