We thoroughly vet new coffees and farms before we bring them in for you to enjoy. For so long, we've tasted lots of delicious Colombian coffees never quite believing that we were truly experiencing the best. This, however, we found two that thoroughly excited us! Los Monserrate Community Farms and La Buenavista Farm from the La Palma y El Tucan washing station are both from Cundinamarca, the department that includes Bogota, Colombia's capital.

La Buenavista Farm is the focus of this cupping. This extraordinary lot was purchased and refined by the cutting edge washing station of La Palma y El Tucan from Margarita Ramirez's small farm, La Buenavista. Using innovative methods of controlled temperature and air exposure, La Palma was able to bring out the finest qualities in an otherwise delicious coffee.

We'll be hosting a short talk on varietals, terror, and climate in Colombia, then we'll be hosting a video conference with the folks from La Palma y El Tucan.  Afterwards, taste this year's lot from La Buenavista Farm alongside several other small lots from that department.

Note: seating for the event is limited, so sign up soon!
